Today, thanks to the excellent image quality offered by smartphones, most users take a number of unspeakable pictures, which they then store on their computer without ever looking at them.
In the era of the digital, photo printing seems to be a distant memory, and there are now alternative and more intuitive, such as video editing. In effect, the creation of a digital photo album allows you to remember the good times more fun and interactive.
To help you keep track of your most beautiful memories, here are 4 steps to know to create a movie from photos accumulated on your Windows 10.
1. Create a folder of photos.
Before you create a film, it is preferable to put all the photos that you intend to use in a single folder.
Normally, they are stored in your library, but to save time, we recommend that you create a new folder on your desktop, browse the library and then migrate your photos.
2. Configure your video editor.
On Windows 10, create your video directly via the Photos application. To do this, it is very simple :
In the tool bar, click on Video Projects.
Go to New video project.
In the Library project, import your photos.
3. Assemble the photos.
To modify the content and add effects, filters or text, the video editors are working with what is called the timeline.
In the case of our tutorial with Photos, it is a Storyboard, the band at the bottom of the screen.
To create a sequence, drag your photos into Storyboard and in the order you want them.
Click on the photo of your choice.
To choose the time of the appearance of your photos, go to Time and choose the seconds.
4. Add titles, filters and music.
Once the photos are all in place and that you are satisfied with the progress of the video, then it is time to add text, filters or even music.
This can be a simple message in the beginning of the video or to be added to each photo, throughout the film.
In your Storyboard, select the photo to which you want to add the text.
In the toolbar at the top, click on Text.
In the left text box, type your sentence.
Change the style and layout.
Confirm with Done.
To give a little more oomph to your video, add a filter to your photos.
In your Storyboard, select the photo to add filters.
In the toolbar at the top, click on Filters.
On the left, select the filter of your choice.
Complete with Finished.
Finally, you can add a little music to your videos. To do this, import audio files from your library or directly select a background music offered by Photos.
On the home screen of your video project, go to background Music or Audio personality at the top of the window.
Select the background music or import sound directly from your PC.
If your background music is one of the proposed Photos, then it will automatically adjust to the length of your video.
Once the editing is complete, it only remains for you to do is click on Finish the video, in the top right of the screen.
