The Apple Watch is compatible with watchOS 6 .
All of the Apple Watch Series, from the 1st to the 5th generation can run under watchOS 6, available since September 19, 2019.
Note that you will also need at least an iPhone 6s running iOS 13.
Update your Apple Watch.
Most often, the update watchOS operates via a Bluetooth connection between your iPhone and your Apple Watch. In addition, your watch will need to be in charge and have a battery level of at least 50 %.
On your iPhone, open the application Apple Watch .
Go to the tab My watch and then tap on General.
Tap on software update.
Tap on Install.
Finally, as with all software updates, you’ll need to be connected to Wi-Fi.
Note : Even if the update takes some time, do not disconnect the watch before the end of the process.
Unlike iOS and macOS, Apple does not publish a public beta for watchOS.
