According to Apple, in very rare cases, the power adapters with three pins can break and create a risk of electric shock, if you touch the exposed parts.
The california-based company says the risks are only associated with the power adapters sold with the Mac and some iOS devices between 2003 and 2015, and present in the Apple world travel adapter kit.
Apple also points to the adapters for two-pin designed for continental Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Argentina and Brazil.
The firm said that six accidents have been reported around the world. On the other hand, it does not specify if it was shock, and if they have been caused by the rupture of a pin.
