How to start Windows 10 in safe mode ?.


If your PC will not shut down properly or refuses to start normally, safe mode is your best friend.

Unlike Windows XP, Vista, or 7, where you just need to press the F8 key when you start your PC, boot in safe mode is not so obvious in Windows 8 and 10.

Note that from the January 14, 2020, Windows 7 is coming to an end and will no longer receive updates from Microsoft. Therefore, it is recommended to switch to Windows 8 or 10.

2nd technique :.

When you start your computer :

Select Restart and hold down the Shift key.

Then, select safe Mode.

3rd technique :.

If you have already started your computer and your screen is black.

Simultaneously press the CTRL, ALT, and DELETE.

Then, select disconnect.

Then Restart (under the icon at the bottom, just to the right of your screen).

And as before, hold down the Shift key and select the safe Mode.

To do this, you must create your disk reboot Windows 10 on a DVD or a USB key.

Then, restart your computer with the DVD or USB inserted in your PC (change the BIOS settings if necessary), and then click Repair your computer.

Now, when you restart your PC, you can press the F8 key to access the advanced options menu of Windows 7.

To select the restart mode, use the arrows on your keyboard, and then Enter to confirm your choice.

To exit the safe mode, you have 3 options :

Go in the search bar of Windows, type in : msconfig and press Enter.

Press the Windows key on your keyboard and R and type : msconfig and press Enter.

Go to the search bar and type Run and then type msconfig and press Enter.

Once the system Configuration window open, click on the Start tab.

In the boot Options, uncheck safe Boot. Then, click on Apply, then OK.

You will be asked to restart your PC to implement in your reboot option.

If nothing is asked of you to get out of safe Mode, then manually restart your PC.
