You want to send sms from your iPad ? In this tutorial, we explain to you 2 techniques to communicate using your Apple tablet.
Send sms from an iPad with iMessage.
You’ve probably noticed that your iPad is with the Messages app. Be aware that it allows you to send iMessages. These are free but, alas, they can not be exchanged between devices iOS.
To write your iMessage, go to the Messages app. And then, to write your message, press the icon located in the top right of your screen (a square surmounted by a pen).
In the bar provided, type the name of your correspondent. If the latter turns blue, it means that your contact has an iPhone or an iPad, and you can exchange iMessages with him.
On the other hand, if the name of your correspondent goes to red, this indicates that he will not be able to receive iMessage.
You will be also notified by the error message Not distributed. If such is your case, follow our 2nde technique.
Send sms from an iPad with TextMe.
Your correspondent has an Android ? Use the third-party application TextMe.
It will allow you to send free sms from your iPad to other smartphones. Please be aware, however, that their number is limited.
To get more, you’ll have to watch advertisements, to recommend the application to a friend, or pay.
