How to schedule sending messages on the iPhone ?.

In certain situations, such as important appointments, birthdays, etc), it may be helpful to write down a message in advance for it to be sent automatically at a predefined time and accurate.

On iOS, unlike Android, such functionality is not available natively. However, there are other solutions that are very simple to plan the dispatch of your text messages or, at least, create a reminder.

In this article, we offer two tricks to schedule the sending of a message on the iPhone.

The application is Scheduled.

The application Scheduled allows you to schedule the sending of SMS free of charge. On the other hand, if you want to send automatically then you will need to pay a monthly subscription.

In fact, even if the app itself is free, to be able to use the function of sending messages, you will need (at least) to subscribe to its Premium package, 2.99 € per month.

If you do not want to subscribe, then you will only be able to configure the programming of your text messages, and then receive a reminder in due time.

Use Reminders and create an alert.

Scheduling SMS sending is also possible for Callbacks, an application native iOS. Although it may not be able to automatically send a text message, this last is a very good reminder for you to remember that your message needs to be sent and when.

Its use is very simple, once it’s in Reminders, go on the + icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, then select Recall from the menu that appears.

In the blank field at the top, type your note, such as “Send message to mom” and notify Me on a certain day, enter the date and time of your alert.
Finally, enter your text in the Notes section at the bottom of the page, and then press Ok.

The D-day, when your alert appears on the screen, double-tap it. Once the application is open, tap on the title of your note and then click the information icon (an “i” encircled), and scroll to the Notes section.

Now, tap on your text and choose select All., and then Copy it. Finally, go into Messages, paste and send.
