How to connect iPhone to TV ?.

Connect an iPhone to a TV via an adapter Lightning AV digital.

Note that some video applications, such as myCANAL or ARTE, have their own AirPlay function. To watch ARTE for example, open the application, select Airplay, then Apple TV and voila !

Watch videos and photos on your TV.

It is possible that, from an application or the internet on the tv, you may not be able to watch streaming videos. In fact, only the developers determine the applications video that will be compatible with AirPlay.

To work around this, nothing is better than the technique called mirroring, this is a reproduction of the screen and all the content of your smartphone on your tv.

Go to the control center, select AirPlay, then Apple TV.

To see all your photos and videos on your TV screen : open the Photo app and press Share. Select the photos by tapping on each of them until a blue circle with a white arrow appears.

Select AirPlay and press on Apple TV, your photos will be displayed on your TV screen. To move from one photo to another, slide your finger to the left or the right.

It is also possible to scroll automatically, like a slide show. Return on Share, select your photos as before, press Slideshow, and then Apple TV.

Then, by selecting Transitions you can customize your slide show.

If you want to add music, unlock your screen, and then select the Music option.

Now, proceed to your choice of music. To do this, choose the song, album or playlist, drag it, this will appear automatically in the control center. Select AirPlay, then Apple TV, now, your photo slideshow on background music is ready !

Composite cable AV Apple.

If you have an iPhone or iPad 30-pin (the first generations of iPad, iPhone 4s ..) then your best option is the composite AV cable.

This cable works the same way as the adapter Lightning digital AV, as explained above. However, you’ll need a composite video input (video signal) to your TV and not the HDMI.

Your videos should also be of high quality SD (Standard Definition), HD is not compatible.
